JULY 2008: SEATTLE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL MOSAIC IS COMPLETED!

JULY 2 -SEPT 2008: TWO VAULTS GALLERY ICON SHOW

Head on down to Two Vaults Gallery here in Tacoma to see a show co-curated by Lynn DiNino and Two Vaults. Lots of funny, thoughtful, and just plain wacky icons, including one of my own, and lots of local artists.

JUNE 9, 2008: WORLD OCEAN DAY ART INSTALLATION

I created a sculpture of a polar bear made from plastic grocery bags during World Ocean Day at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. My sculpture was made from plastic grocery bags, just a fraction of the 1,460 bags used each year by the average American family of four. Over 500 BILLION plastic bags are produced each year and less than 1% are recycled! Many end up in the ocean and kill millions of birds, turtles, and other sea life every single year.

MAY 2008: GRAND CINEMA'S 72-HOUR FILM FESTIVAL

I have a new concrete and mosaic sculpture, "KNIGHT to B4," now installed at the Puyallup Outdoor Gallery in Puyallup, Washington. It will be up for one year and it is for sale!
